Miniature Railway

The Miniature railway is 7¼” gauge and runs around the whole of the garden centre site. The railway is operated independently of the garden centre by Derek Moss.  We are proud of our 'proper' station, which won an award in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competition 2009.

We aim to run every weekend, Bank Holidays and during the local school holidays - the snow and ice only defeated us once in the 2009 winter season.  Our opening hours are between 11 am. and 4.30 pm., 4 pm. on Sundays.

The price for a trip around the circuit is £1 per person, and children under 3 travel free - as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

The miniature railway also operates a loyalty card scheme which gives you a free ride for every 5 tickets collected.
